Q. What type of printing method is this?

A. The printer is a computer controlled large format Direct To Garment (DTG) DIGITAL ink jet printer that prints directly onto garments and fabric or prints onto special print paper for Direct to Transfer Film.

Q. Are the prints produced very detailed?

A. The printer produces graphics with up to 1200 Dpi. Process screen-printing is about 72 Dpi

​

Q. How many colors will the printer produce?

A. By using the 4-color printing process (CMYK) and WHITE inks, it can produce over 16 Million colors.

​

Q. How long does it take to print a shirt?

A. It depends on the design, but a standard sized 10"X12" design can be produced in a minute.

​

Q. Is there any post treating of the garment after printing?

A. We heat cure the print to set the ink.


Q. What color of garments can it print on?

A. We can print on any colored garments!

 

Q. Can you print on dark color shirts?

A. Yes!

Q. Will the ink withstand washing?

A. Yes, we have done extensive wash testing and we have found that the ink is very durable in most cases better than Screen Printing. Also, the ink does not bleach off. Best prints are produced on 100% cotton materials.

Q. What is the maximum printing size?

A. 14" x 16" maximum printable area


Q. How much does it cost to print a shirt?

A. It depends on the design, print size, number of prints per shirt and shirt brand/style. Please refer to our pricing or email us for a quote.

Q. What format does the design file have to be?

A. We prefer PSD, Illustrator, PDF, PNG, or JPEG files in high resolution. However, other artwork formats may work depending on the job. Please contact us if you are not sure.

Q. What types of fabric can it print on?

A. You can print on a variety of fabric types, including 100% cotton and 50% cotton 50% poly blends. 100% cotton blends yield better, long lasting results. We have also printed on leather, canvas, suede and other materials with great results.

​

Q. When the garment is being printed, how do you keep ink from bleeding from the front to the back?
A. There is no need as the ink does not bleed through the shirt.

​

Q. Can you print on sleeves?

A. Yes. We can also print on pockets, hoodies, and neck tags. Anywhere on the garment!
